Job Objective:
Assist the General Manager and CFO in creating timely and accurate financial statements; complete analysis for inventory and administer accounts receivable, accounts payable and other financial projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Complies with the Company’s Quality System procedures and work instructions.
- Cost Accounting, Inventory and Manufacturing Variance Analysis
- Maintain Standard Costs, analyze, explain variances from standard
- Reconcile Inventories from MRP/ERP system to General ledger
- Analyze freight and import / export costs
Accounts Receivable:
- Process sales invoicing in Global Shop
- Apply cash receipts to customers’ accounts
- Correspond with customers, as needed
- Complete Credit Reference Inquiries
Accounts Payable:
- Maintain vendor vouchering process, to include:
- Ensuring appropriate authorized approval documents and/or signatures are in place
- Verifying pricing of invoice is consistent with Purchase Order
- Identifying correct PPT and/or GL account code distributions
- Entry of vouchers into Global Shop
- Issue payments to vendors in timely manner.
- Research vendor credits & discrepancies in vendor statements and correspond with vendors to resolve.
- Audit and voucher employee expense reports to ensure compliance with corporate policy before paying.
- Prepare quarterly Sales & Use Tax return for the State of Kansas.
Cash Flow:
- Maintain spreadsheet of daily bank inflows & outflows.
- Process Bank Transaction entries.
- Prepare Borrowing Base documents for Bank, as needed.
Month End Close:
- Reconcile Global Shop subsidiary ledgers to general ledger.
- Reconcile intercompany account and post corresponding journal entries to general ledger.
- Reconcile inventory to general ledger.
- Maintain fixed assets in Depreciation software.
- Prepare various closing journal entries and post to general ledger.
- Reconcile project accounting entries to general ledger.
- Prepare Monthly Sales, margin, and other management reports for General Manager/CFO
- Maintain Earned Value Analysis and Gross Margin Analysis Metrics.
- Maintain Project Accounting expense and revenue detail and prepare various reports as requested by Project Manager.
- Process payroll and 401K transactions (under the direction of Human Resources).
- Provide backup supply chain and administrative functions as necessary
- Aware of project milestones, able to respond and react to resolve financial project issues impacting the project’s success.
- Makes good use of time and is able to set priorities to meet organizational and departmental goals.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Staff Accountant/Admin
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting with cost accounting experience preferred, will consider candidates with Associates Degree and work experience in the functions.
- Strong problem solving, analytical skills, data analysis and critical thinking skills.
- Strong working knowledge of principles of General ledger, Cost Accounting, Account Analysis and Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products
- Experience with Global Shop preferred but not necessary, Quick Books, or other automated General ledger systems
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems and integrated cost financial reporting, preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent clerical, data entry skills, speed and accuracy required

SMT Operator I
Utilize SMT machines to place surface mount parts and solder reflow the components to the printed circuit board. Responsible for the set-up of all pieces of equipment on the SMT line, including the screen printer, the pick and place machines, and the reflow oven.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adhere to all ESD requirements and board handling requirements.
- Use of Moisture Sensitive Device (MSD) handling requirements based on component moisture-sensitive levels (MSL).
- Utilize process sheets to ensure correct build of product.
- Load feeders for surface mount machines using the load list provided by machine.
- Verify correct part numbers are being used for the specific job being run.
- Initiate and select correct programs for SMT screen printer & SMT pick and place machines and correct reflow profile for the reflow oven per work instructions.
- Select the proper stencil screen for use during screen-printing operation.
- Comply with Pivot-EDM’s standards of ESD, IPC-A-610, work instructions, and ISO procedures and policies.
- Perform machine preventative maintenance on-screen printer and pick and place machines based on assigned schedules.
- Operate stencil cleaning machine.
- Clean boards as required based on soldering chemistry.
- Support and follow all ISO standards related to Pivot-EDM’s various Quality Management Systems. These systems may include but are not limited to, quality, the environment, health, safety, and security.
- Support all corporate and site 6S objectives.
- Perform all other duties, as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 0 - 6 months previous electronic experience/training provided
- Ability to utilize electronic work instructions
- Ability to utilize SMT line management software
- Pass IPC-A-610 Modules: 1, 2, 4, 7 & 8
- Microsoft Office/computer skills
- Knowledge of machine maintenance

Electronic Assembler / Solder Assembler
Responsibilities include assembling electronic components, subassemblies and systems using hand tools, light assembly equipment and lead-free solder stations. Assemblers are expected to follow production work instructions and shop orders to complete product assembly with the highest quality and efficiency.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up and operate appropriate equipment, tools, and fixtures for product assembly
- Soldering of wires and components to printed circuit boards
- Assembly and soldering of wiring harnesses
- Hand assembly of plastic and metal heat sinks and case parts
- Operate and supervise automatic epoxy resin potting machines
- Functional testing of work in progress and completed units
- Packaging of finished goods (box and clamshell)
- Works with production supervisor to ensure product quality by identifying and resolving assembly issues and highlighting continuous improvement opportunities
- Maintain a safe, clean working environment
- Read and apply documented quality system procedures
- Read and understand work instructions and Bills of Material
- Must understand and follow all rules of safety as defined by the employer and required by all applicable regulations.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

- Must be able to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations at a high school level

- Electronics Manufacturing Environments: 2 years preferred

- Manual dexterity for working with small components
